Instrumentl supports two forms of single-sign-on (also known as federated authentication):

  • Login with Google

  • Enterprise SSO

Login with Google

Login with Google is available to all Instrumentl users who have a Google-affiliated (typically, gmail.com or googlemail.com) email address used with their Instrumentl account. It can be used by clicking Login with Google from the Log In page.

Enterprise SSO

Enterprise SSO is a feature available on our Enterprise Plans. We support single-sign-on via any OpenID® Connect-compatible Identity Provider (IdP). Some examples:

To get started with Enterprise SSO, once you've signed up for a qualifying plan, please contact your customer support representative to put you in touch with an Instrumentl integration specialist. Our specialist will need to work with someone who manages your identity infrastructure (typically an IT team member) to get the relevant configuration in place.

Please note that Enterprise SSO is domain-based and requires that your users are logging in with email addresses from a single (or small number of) managed domain name.

At this time, we do not support SCIM.
