These tools allow you to centralize your relationship-building insights, ensuring that you never miss a detail or an opportunity to strengthen your connections with funders.
Funder Notes
The Funder Notes feature allows you to record key insights about funders directly in Instrumentl. Here's how to make the most of this feature:
Navigate to the Funder Profile of the opportunity you want to document insights for.
Enter any context or insights that would be helpful to track.
Click Save to store key funder information and relationship history so you have context anytime you see an opportunity from this funder.
Funder Contacts
The Funder Contacts feature allows you to maintain a database of key individuals associated with each funder. Here's how to leverage this feature:
Navigate to the Funder Profile of the opportunity you want to add contacts to.
Click the + Add Contact link.
Enter any relevant contact details.
Click Save.
Saved Funder Notes and Funder Contacts will be accessible across all opportunities on your account associated with a funder, regardless of the specific grant or fiscal year.
Additionally, you can export funder contacts as a CSV report for easy sharing — perfect for sending out email newsletters. Learn more about exportable reports here.
