Instrumentl's Tracker is meant to keep your funding pipeline organized. We recommend folks add all funding opportunities to their Tracker, even ones found outside of Instrumentl, in order to:
Centralize your funding pipeline
Save time hunting down funding information
Improve team collaboration
Automatically access funder 990 insights
To get started, go to the top right on your Tracker and click + Add New > + Add one.
From there, you'll be prompted to fill out additional fields. If the Funder or Opportunity doesn't appear in the options, you can type in a custom name and select the + Add (custom name) box to populate it. If the Funder is not in our database, you'll also have the option to include the Funder Type as well.
Then make sure to select which Instrumentl Project you want to assign that grant to, fill out additional fields if necessary, and hit Save.
Additionally, consider If you have many funding opportunities found outside of Instrumentl that you'd like to upload to the platform at once, you can use the "Add Historical Awards" option in the Tracker, and our team will import a spreadsheet of your grants!
Be sure to add any grants you've already found outside of Instrumentl in order to keep your Tracker organized and streamline your hard work.
Note: If you'd instead like our team to add the funding opportunity to our database for everyone to see, don't hesitate to let us know via hello@instrumentl.com, or by simply using the chat messenger in your account.
