How can I edit my project?

Edit your project parameters to adjust your matched opportunity and funder results

Editing your project

From the Project Actions menu

You can easily edit your project by navigating to the Project Actions menu via the 3-dots that appear when you hover your cursor over a project listed on the left-hand side. From "Project Actions", select Edit.

Two other Project Actions are Duplicate and Delete, should you wish to make a copy of a project's configuration (the saved grants will not duplicate—only the project setup) or remove a project permanently from your account (this is an irreversible action; there is no temporary "archiving" of projects).

From within a project

Another way to edit your project is to click the Edit Project button in the top-right corner of your screen when you're working within a project (as opposed to All Projects).

You'll be taken to the same project setup you saw when initially creating this project.

When you're done making changes, scroll down the "2. Matches Setup" page and click Save and Exit.

Once you've saved your changes, your Matches will be updated immediately.

Special note: Prospecting Assistant (beta)

Some of you may have early access to the Prospecting Assistant in beta. With this feature, editing your project will look quite different!

Edit match criteria

To make changes to your project's summary & location, funder type, grant size, funding use, and applicant type, select Edit project > Match criteria

Edit project settings

To edit your project settings, like the name, color, and lead, select Edit project > Project settings.

Editing your project is a great way to tweak the results in your Matches. Read more about how to create the perfect project using the "classic" experience, or how to use the Prospecting Assistant (beta) for those with early access.
