Use Instrumentl's Quick Find feature to search our entire database for any grant or funder. Instrumentl's database features all private foundations registered with the IRS, as well as active grants from private foundations, public charities, corporations and state & federal funders. 

Locate the Quick Find at the top left of your screen, directly beneath the Instrumentl logo.

Click on the Quick Find to open up the search modal. 

Type in the name of a funder or grant, and you'll see a list of results appear below. At the top of the list you'll see any active grant opportunities with names related to your search term. In the bottom portion of the list you'll see the 990 reports of any private foundation with names related to your query. 

Select the grant or 990 report you're interested in to open up a full page view of the grant page or 990 report. You can then save the grant or funder to your Tracker using the 'Save' button.

Tip: If you can't find what you're looking for, try making small alterations to your query as funders may have registered with the IRS under a slightly different name. For instance, if you're searching for the XX Foundation, try replacing the term 'Foundation' with similar alternatives like 'Trust', 'Charitable Foundation', or 'Fund'.
