If you’d like to view a PDF version of a Funder/Recipient page with its 990 insights, so you don’t have to make funder briefs yourself, our download feature allows you to do just that! Below are instructions for downloading a PDF of a 990 Report (Funder and/or Recipient Profile).

Open the 990 Report (Funder and/or Recipient Profile) you would like to download.

Click the Download PDF button under the funder/recipient's name at the top.

You can also download a Funder 990 Report by clicking the Download PDF button directly from the Funder Profile tab within a saved grant page!

Once you click the Download PDF button, the 990 Report for the Funder/Recipient will download as a PDF to your computer.

The PDF will include Basic 990 Insights. If you're on the Standard Plan or above, the download will also include Advanced 990 insights and any Recipient Profile data.

All "Giving by NTEE Code" data will be exported.

However, only some "Past Grantees" are shown; in the PDF, you can click the hyperlinked VIEW ALL RESULTS to be taken to the live 990 Report page in Instrumentl.

The charts and graphs will default to All-time ("Past Grantees"), the most recent year ("Openness to New Grantees" and "Past Awards Received"), Snapshot ("Grant Amounts" and "Giving by NTEE Code") and Giving ("Key Financial Stats").

Any chart filters will not be included in the download. All "Giving by NTEE Code" data will be exported (within the Snapshot tab).
