How to purchase additional Core User seats

Learn how to update your current plan to add more user seats and expand your internal team space!

If you've reached the user limit on your account, no worries! While your plan comes with a baseline user allotment, you can purchase additional Core User seats for just $5/user per month ($60/user/year annually).

Purchase additional Core Users

To add more Core User slots to your account, follow the instructions below:

  1. Navigate to Account > Settings at the bottom left menu on your screen.

  2. Under "Your Subscription", you'll see the total number of Core User seats available.

  3. From here, click Manage, then select the Change your plan button:

  4. This takes you to your Plan page. The plan you're currently on will automatically be highlighted with a large purple Edit Plan button β€” click your plan's edit button to stay on the same tier.

  5. You'll then be redirected to the checkout page, outlining your current plan details. Under "Number of users", select the new desired number of users from the dropdown menu.

    For example, if you have five (5) user seats on your plan but would like to add two (2) more, select seven (7) to update your plan to include 7 total Core Users going forward:

  6. Finally, click the purple Confirm Payment button to finalize the extra user seats. Upon successful payment, account owners will receive a receipt directly via email.

🌟 Important Note 🌟

Disregard the "Plan Summary" total on the righthand side of the checkout screen β€” Please know that when you check out, we'll credit your unused time from your last payment on your current plan, so you will only be charged a prorated amount for the additional user(s) through the remainder of your current billing cycle.

  • The listed amount represents the new plan total and will only be billed at the start of your next billing cycle.

Invite more team members

Once you've successfully added more Core User seats, you can invite extra team members to join your Instrumentl account! Account owners and designated admins can manage users on the Team page by heading to Account > Manage Team:

Click the + Add Teammate button at the top right, and select "Invite Core User" to fill your newly-purchased user seats!
