Why are some of my users locked out of my account?

Make more space for locked users to regain access to your account

If you notice after subscribing that one of your Core users is locked out, this means that you are beyond your maximum number of users for the plan you purchased. Locked out users cannot access your account.

To verify whether a user is locked out, look for a "lock" symbol next to the user's name by navigating to Account > Manage team. The top of your Manage Team page also indicates the number of users remaining:

You'll see zero Core users remaining if you've identified a locked user. To unlock a user, you can either remove an existing user, or you may edit your current plan to purchase additional user slots.

Remove & replace a current user

If you'd like a locked user to regain account access while keeping the current number of allotted user seats, you can delete an active user on your team page to make space for the locked out user.

To delete an existing user:

  1. Head to Account > Manage Team.

  2. Select Remove from the dropdown menu to the right of the active user's name:

Purchase additional Core user seats

To expand your team further, additional Core user seats can be purchased for just $5/user per month (or $60/user per year).

  1. At the bottom left of your account, head to Account > Settings.

  2. Click the purple Manage button.

  3. Select Change your plan, then click the purple Edit Plan button.

  4. Update your current plan to include the desired number of users. E.g., if your account has 3 users, but you'd like space for 2 more, select "5" user seats from the dropdown on the checkout page.

  5. Click Check out.

***Note: At the time of check out, you will only be charged the prorated amount for any seat(s) you purchase through the remainder of your current billing cycle. E.g., if you add seats midway through your billing cycle, you will only be charged for the remaining portion of the cycle, ensuring fair pricing for usage.

Once your plan has been updated to increase the amount of users, verify on your Team page that your locked out user has access again. Be sure to let them know so they can log back into your account and get to it!
