Instrumentl launched new features as part of a new pricing tier, the Standard Plan. Below are answers to some of our most commonly asked questions.

  • How do I upgrade to Standard?

  • If I upgrade to the Standard Plan before my renewal date, how does that affect my price?

    • You will only pay a prorated amount based on the time left in your remaining billing cycle. We'll credit you the unused time left in your current plan, so you won't be double paying for the same access.

For example: Let's say you're on a monthly Basic plan, paying $195/month. Your plan currently renews on the 5th of every month, but you want to upgrade to the Standard annual plan today (Nov 16th, 2021)

If you upgraded today, your new billing cycle would be reset to Nov 16th. You would get charged for a year of the annual Standard plan, pro-rated based on the time remaining in your current monthly billing cycle.

In this particular case, since you have already paid $195 on Nov 5th for Instrumentl access until Dec 5th, we would deduct whatever's unused in that monthly payment from today's Standard annual charge.

Once you confirm the payment, the account owner can view your Receipt to see exactly what the prorated amount that got charged today is.
