The Tracker is a project management tool in Instrumentl that helps you track, organize, and manage all your grants in one place. The Tracker is customizable so you can tailor your view, making your grant work even more efficient.
With our customizable Tracker, you're able to:
Filter by certain criteria, such as: Fiscal Year, Owner, Status, and Custom Fields.
Sort certain columns by ascending/descending, such as: Name, Deadline, Amount, and Next Task.
Manipulate columns by adding, removing, and rearranging to tidy up your view.
Collapse months to stay focused on the month at hand.
Create Custom Fields to store vital information that you can't find a home for in one of our pre-populated fields.
Filter Columns
In the Tracker, you're able to filter by Fiscal Year, Owner, Status, and certain Custom Fields. You can filter by Fiscal Year by using the dropdown near the top, while you can filter by the other criteria by clicking the funnel icons.
You can also easily categorize your opportunities between those in the "Researching" status and those where you are actively working on applications for. Just click the "Researching" and "Applications" tabs near the top of the Tracker.
Sort by ascending/descending
By default, the Tracker is organized by deadline. If you'd like to re-sort your Tracker by Name, Deadline, Amount, or Next Task, you can easily click the arrow next to that column.
For Name and Amount, you'll be shown a dropdown asking you to specify the exact sorting you'd prefer.
Add, Remove, and Rearrange Columns
We want your Tracker to show the information you need and in the exact order you'd prefer. You can click the pencil icon to easily add or remove columns from the Tracker view.
You can also hover over columns to rearrange the order in which they appear.
Collapse Months
If you'd like to focus on one month at a time in your Tracker, you can click the arrow next to the month to collapse the opportunities. When you're ready to view that month's opportunities, just click the arrow again!
Create Custom Fields
Are you looking for a place to store vital information, but can't quite find the right home for it? Custom Fields allow you to create brand new columns in the Tracker, both at the Funder and Funding Opportunity level! Learn more about Custom Fields here.
Custom Fields is a feature exclusive to our Professional Plan and above.
