How to update your payment method

Learn how to easily change the credit card or U.S. bank account on file

Account owners can change the payment method on their account when logged in by going to https://www.instrumentl.com/card. Alternatively, you can navigate to Account > Settings. Only account Owners or Admins (if given permissions) can change payment methods. Members will need assistance from an Owner or Admin.

You will then be prompted to update your billing information. Instrumentl accepts payment via credit/debit card or ACH bank transfer.

If you would like to switch to ACH bank transfer, navigate to the Pricing page, select Edit Plan, and choose ACH Bank Transfer. If you do not see this option in your account, please send us an email at hello@instrumentl.com and we'll be glad to assist!

Adding a Payment Method on Behalf of Another User

Another person can update the payment method on your behalf if given permission. They must log into your account, navigate to the Pricing page, choose a plan, and proceed to checkout with their payment details.

Removing a Payment Method or Cancelling Subscriptions

Only the account Owner can handle such changes. Visit the account settings page, locate the subscription management section, and proceed with the required action.

Updating a Credit Card for Scheduled Charges

When adding a new payment method, make sure to set it as the default option to cover scheduled charges. Verify this setup by checking the default status in the payment methods section of your account.
